This panorama captures the highest point I've even been so far in my life and yet I was still two miles below Mount Everest. The world's highest mountain peaks out behind the more dramatic appearing Nuptse in the foreground. The glowing light warmly coating Everests frozen slopes, give away the fact that it is actually thousands of feet taller than Nuptse. Like so many photo attempts this one really didn't seem like it was going to happen as the typical evening clouds filled the valley while I huffed and puffed my way up this small hill to nearly 18,000 feet. However, climbing higher and higher, eventually I found myself above a sea of clouds just in time for the last glorious like on these Himalayan giants.
